It also includes information on upcoming screenings and workshops
in animation along with news about recent publications. Animation

seminars, lectures, demonstrations and visiting national and
international animators. Guests in the past have included:

Scott (voice of Bulwinkle); Oscar winner Bill Plympton ("Plymptoons"
on MTV); Oscar winner Faith Hubley; Oscar nominated animator

Most importantly, ASIFA Washington gives people
who love animation a focal point for sharing information and
ideas. Members become connected to the whole world of animation
through screenings and lectures by visiting animators. ASIFA works to provide an outlet
in the area for animators and/or their films that might not otherwise
have been screened. It also provides a unique opportunity to
see and discuss animation as an art form. |
