The Second Annual Israeli Animation Celebration

February 26, 2002 Tel Aviv Cinemateque, ISRAEL

    What is ASIF ?

Every year, hundreds of new animations are being produced in Israel by students, industry professionals, animation and post production studios and other animators. But only a small part of that art is ever shown to the general public.

Hence, on January 2001, the first animation convention (ASIF 2000) was held in the Tel-Aviv Cinemateque. Animations were shown, crowds of people were having lots of fun, and the event was a declared a great success.

This year, we're improving it further by having multiple screenings in various categories (student films, independent films, commercial films) open to the general public, and one festive screening showing the best of all categories. Everyone can participate in the event, and everybody's invited.

If you are from Israel, and love animation, you must be there!
