Anastasia Dimitra is an External Associate Professor in the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean (Greece). She holds a D. Prof. from the University of Middlesex at London, U.K. (2001). At the same time she is the Animation and Interactive Media course leader at AKTO art & design college (validated college Middlesex University, London.), (2001-2017). She is member of the WBL Middlesex University, London. staff as an advisor/ assessor for Greece and Cyprus since 2001. She has collaborated to produce animation films with animation companies in Greece. In 1995 establishes the production company ''Simio'' and creating several productions, such as 'Cartoonia' 36 episodes of 26 'for the Greek television (1996-1998). In 2011 she created the film ‘Diadromes’ 1’ participated at the official selection of Animasyros festival 2011 , Silent movie festival 2012. 2015 she created ‘Emmones’ 2’25’’ a map projection installation and participated in a group exhibition, participated also at the group exhibition of 70 years of Greek animation. She wrote : a book for animation address to children a book for titles sequences as well several pares and articles about animation. She has been member of the jury on several animation festivals, amongst them, the film Selection committee for the Hiroshima animation Festival, Japan. (2002).
