Dear Readers

I am very happy to have this new issue, as a truly independent magazine of our association. From 2005 until the previous issue, our magazine was brought out under the umbrella of Cartoons, published by John Libbey Publishing and, with their continued cooperation and kindness, it has now become ASIFA’s independent magazine, with a new format, new title, and new design. I am also very happy that, as of this issue, the French version of ASIFA Magazine is available on our website asifa.net. It is my sincere hope that our magazine will be used to promote information/cultural exchanges among our members, and that it will continue to develop more and more in the future.
