Besides the most important activities of the  local ASIFA Groups all over the world, ASIFA is realising several projects on an international level, which certainly bring benefits to the international animation community.

- 50th Anniversary Year
Many special projects will be realised, among them Anniversary Book and DVD….

- ASIFA Prize
Since 1985 ASIFA gives this prize to outstanding achiements for the art of animation. This internationally recognised prize plays an important role in the animation community until today.

- International Animation Day (IAD)
Following the initiative idea of former ASIFA President Abi Feijo, ASIFA is celebrating animation once a year, on 28th october. The project is perfectly co-ordinated by Juliette Crochu (AFCA / ASIFA France), the number of participating countries is increasing every year. IAD is also a unique occasion to collaborate also with non-ASIFA-groups, the day simply brings animation enthusiats from all countries and nationalities together.

- Animation Workshop Group (AWG)
ASIFA Members from all over the world are organising regularily animation workshop with children and young people. A perfect tool and occasion for inter-cultural exchange.

- ASIFA Magazine
Twice a year ASIFA Members receive our printed magazine, filled with interesting articles about contemporary art, history, and ASIFA’s activities. The color magazine also offer rich illustrations and images.
