Local and national chapters have their own activities.  These projects include a wide range of events including: coordinating or assisting with film festivals, screenings, conferences, publishing websites and newsletters, life-drawing classes, animation workshops, working with archives and libraries, offering equipment cooperatives, and hosting informal meet and greet member gatherings.

Several significant International ASIFA activities are described in this section: the printed publications including 50^th Anniversary Book, the ASIFA Prize, International Animation Day, and the Animation Workshop Group – Children’s workshops.
