 Biography

Born to farming family 1943 in Cheshire UK.
Degree in Engineering from Manchester.
Education Diploma from Bangor (Maths, Physics and Art).
Lived in North Wales since 1967 to present.
Active as painter, environment maker and film-maker.
Now interested in "the new Media".

ANIMATION INTERESTS:
I want to be part of the experimental animation tradition.
Fischinger, Len Lye and McLaren point the way for me.
I have developed technique like they did, because I wanted to enhance the art of painting.
I think there will be new need for animation as art when the new technology is in place. I am actively looking for ways of combining what I have done with the new systems.
